Facilitate for the Summer Workshop Series!
Summer Workshop Series seeking facilitators
The Summer Workshop Series is a community-driven education project, that meets community interests with one-time and ongoing workshops, always for free. With offerings for children, youth, parents and other adults, the Summer Workshop Series has something for everyone.
This year, SWS is built around several Advisory Groups made up of community members. These groups have requested workshops for the summer, and we are seeking facilitators for the following topics:
1. Arts and Crafts for children- we are seeking a different art or craft each week of the Series
2. Yoga for adults
3. Movement/Dance for children
4. Studio Art for Teens
5. Improv Acting for Teens
6. Boxing for Teens
7. Bike maintenance (all ages)
We cannot offer payment for facilitators but we can work to cover transporation and/or materials costs.
Additionally, if you or someone you know is interested in facilitating a workshop on a topic not listed here, we are open to suggestions. In these cases, facilitators will need to play a larger role in outreach to ensure success for the workshop.
Interested? Contact Martha at martha@brickhousecommunity.org or 413-863-9576.
